80M Views, Meet In-Demand YouTube Therapist: Kati Morton, LMFT

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based treatment that can help people with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, relationship difficulties, substance use disorders, and many other problems.

CBT places an emphasis on helping individuals learn to be their own therapists. Through exercises in the session as well as “homework” exercises outside of sessions, clients are helped to develop coping skills, whereby they can learn to change their own thinking, problematic emotions, and behavior.

Kati Morton (LMFT), is a licensed marriage and family therapist, YouTube creator, author, speaker and passionate psychoeducation facilitator known for humanizing mental health. With a master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, Kati built a successful practice in Santa Monica, CA, before bringing her education and expertise to the masses via social media.

"Just love Kati. Watching her videos is like a conversation between two friends, who support and encourage each other," says Susan Wagenaar, founder of Colusa County Recovery.

She has since amassed over 1M YouTube channel subscribers and over 80 million views, cultivating a loyal community of engaged mental wellness ambassadors.
